The Story Behind The Story: Quest
We recorded this episode in a place sacred to him—the same spot where he once celebrated his mother’s birthday after she passed. Her spirit was in the room. You could feel it. So was the weight of fatherhood. The pressure of legacy. The hunger to live fully and love deeply—without fear leading the way.
Quest is in a chapter where he’s no longer shrinking. No longer asking for permission to be seen or heard. He’s owning his space, speaking his truth, and creating from the core of who he is.
As the founder of Heal Homie, a streetwear brand that brings soul to the conversation around mental health, Quest moves with purpose. But purpose doesn’t mean he hasn’t wrestled with fear, or grief, or rage. In fact, he’s made peace with them. That’s what makes his story so powerful.
This episode isn’t about perfection—it’s about integration.
Letting all parts of yourself belong.
The artist.
The father.
The healer.
The man still learning to forgive himself.
He talked about befriending his anger, owning his voice, and letting his “inner king” rise. And when he said he calls this chapter Quest in Art Basel, it didn’t feel like a fantasy. It felt inevitable.
Because when a man decides to stop hiding and start healing—anything becomes possible.
Quest reminded me that healing isn’t a soft, quiet thing. Sometimes it’s messy. Loud. Full of fire. But when it’s real, it changes everything.
So here’s to the visionaries.
The fathers.
The ones creating something sacred from their pain.
Here’s to healing out loud.
Here’s to Quest.
Heal, Homie.
