The Story Behind the Story: Brandon Moon

There’s something about Brandon Moon that hits different.

He’s bold. Not just in how he dresses or how many creative lanes he’s in—but in how he shows up. Present. Honest. In process.

We filmed this episode in an antique mall, which honestly couldn’t have been more fitting. Among all the old stories and forgotten things, Brandon was writing a new one—right there in real time. He titled this chapter of his life “Do Better.” And not in the hustle-y, grind-y way people usually mean it. This was deeper. This was: I’m ready to show up differently for myself. I’m ready to take care of my spirit, my mental health, and the people I love.

Brandon reminded me that growth isn’t loud. It’s not flashy. Sometimes it’s just quietly deciding that you won’t abandon yourself anymore. That you’ll stop chasing validation and start choosing peace.

And most of all, that you’ll keep showing up—for your people, for your craft, for your community.

Because at the end of the day, all the art, all the fashion, all the ambition—none of it means anything if we’re not loving each other well.

That’s the heart of Brandon’s story. And honestly, it’s a mirror for all of us.

We’re not here to look cool. We’re here to care.

To grow.

To do better.

Thank you for the reminder, Brandon. And, thank you for being here.
