The Story Behind the Story: Me

This one was different. No guest. No questions to guide me. Just me, a camera, and the decision to stop waiting for permission.

I called this chapter Extreme Ownership—because that’s what this moment demanded.

No more outsourcing my power.

No more blaming timing, fear, or external noise.

If I want different, I have to be different. And that starts with telling the truth—loudly, publicly, and with love.

Filming this interview in public was uncomfortable. Vulnerable. Exposing. But that’s exactly why I did it. Because if I’m going to ask others to be seen, I have to be willing to go first.

This isn’t just content. This is me taking up space. This is me letting go of the perfectionism that kept me quiet. This is me remembering that I don’t need to be polished to be powerful.

I created this series to tell other people’s stories. But today, I turned the camera on myself—because I know that I am a story too. One still unfolding. One still worthy of being witnessed.

Thank you for holding space for me as I figure it out.

Thank you for seeing me.

Let this be your reminder: You don’t need to have it all together to show up with truth.

This is just the beginning.

Thank you for being here
